I was pretty beat this morning. I'm only on week 4 of 18 of marathon training and I am exhausted. I definitely need to start going to sleep earlier. My diet is decent, but I am starting to think that I'm actually not eating enough. I was annoyed last week when I stepped on the scale and found out that I had gained 3 lbs. Well, that weight is gone now and I weighed in at 139.6 today (yes, I am admitting my weight). Of course I am glad that the extra weight is gone, but I worried that it came off a bit too quickly. Add that to the fact that I am feeling tired all the time...maybe, just maybe, I have too much of a calorie deficit. I don't mind losing weight, but I don't think it should be anymore than 1 lb/week. Maybe I'll try eating a bit more and see if my energy level improves. The problem is, I think I will have a hard time getting more calories from food. I eat plenty, and I don't want to start eating empty calories. Maybe I'll try getting more calories from fluids...like an extra glass of juice or something. I tend to drink water all day = 0 calories.
Cliff ordered some boxes of clif bars online. I asked him to order 2 boxes for me. I eat a clif or luna bar before every run. You might say that I am powered by clif bars ;) But boy, are they an expensive addiction. Cliff ordered them online in bulk in attempt to save some money! Thanks :)

I am so proud today because Tony and Ivy both registered for the SportingLife 10k race yesterday :) The race is on May 7, 1 week before the Mississauga marathon (if it had been earlier or later, I would have registered too).

10k on the treadmill for me today...like last week, I thought I wasn't going to be able to do it, but I did it...powered by a clif bar ;)
