When a rest day is not a rest day

So, the past few days I was supposed to do this:

Friday: 5 km steady
Saturday: rest or cross-train
Sunday: 16 km LSD
Monday: rest
Tuesday: 8 km steady

but what I actually did was this:

Friday: 5 km progression
Saturday: 35 min bike (high resistance)
Sunday: 16 km LSD
Monday: 60+ min badminton
Tuesday: too tired, sore and cranky to do anything

Duh...lesson learned.
