Bring on the taper

Goal race in 11 days.

Training this week:

Monday: rest
Tuesday: 10 x 400m @ 5:30/km (done...9.25 km total)
Wednesday: 8k easy
Thursday: rest
Friday: 5k easy
Sat or Sun: 10-15k

I did 20k last Saturday instead of my planned 17-18km. Decided to get the long run over with so that I could taper earlier. I did 20.14k is 2:25, average pace 7:11/km, average HR 158. Not bad. I threw in 3k of "race pace" (6:00/km) towards the end, which felt pretty good. I think I'm ready to run a PB at this race :) The weather forecast looks good, too...looks like it's going to warm up!

I think i am ready to eat 3 bowls of chilli and get a PB on that.

You ran further than me. I haven't run more than 2 hrs for this season yet :O...
