Busy busy busy

Who trains for a marathon while trying to plan a wedding, anyways?? (see my other blog...lol) Add a full time job to that, and there is not much time for sleep :P

Training is going quite well. I'm on week 8 of Hal Higdon's program, and am happy to say that I have been getting the runs done, for the most part. There are missed runs here and there, but not enough to cause any panic. It will get tougher from here though, as my long runs are starting to be longer than 20k. These runs were quite a physical and mental challenge for me when I was training for my first marathon. Physically, it should be easier this time around. I'm wondering if I will be able to get my mental on.

I have 6 weeks until the Around the Bay 30k in Hamilton. I have never done a 30k race before, and the brutally hilly 2nd half of the course will be great preparation for the Vancouver marathon!

Anners,

I didn't realize u are doing ATB as well? The furtherest I ran is 18 km. I am running by time and I haven't even run more than 2 hr.

I need to start ramping up the time. Been running in very low HR (145-155).
