Recovery

I have spent a lot of $$$ on ART and massage therapy, but I think that it is paying off. My RMT said today that my legs are better (e.g. less knotted and tight) than she has seen in quite awhile. Like my chiropractor, she encouraged me to continue with non-impact cross-training. Okay, so nobody is telling me that I can run yet, but I think I am getting closer! I'm really hoping that I can start running by June so that I can get a good three months of training in before Regina. I was good today and did 30 min on the stationary bike during my lunch hour.

In case any of you are wondering what this ART stuff is, here is a link to some info: Active Release Techniques.

In other news, we got a new toy yesterday. Hopefully I will be able to post some better pictures once I figure out how to use it!

Great news!! I hear ya on the $$$ ... I busted my 300$ chiropractic care and in 3 weeks I had to shove more than 200$ of my own money for some treatments!!

Nice toy!!

I'm glad to hear the sessions are helping out! Hopefully you'll be back in tip-top shape for your half.

And congrats on you new camera! I'm soooo excited for you guys! I'll be posting my article on the basics of aperture and shutter speed very soon so keep an eye out for it!

I have never really gone to a chiropractor or massage therapist, but I think I am going to start.
Hope you are able to run soon!
