We picked up a Wii Fit a few weeks ago. Being the running snob that I am (haha), at first I thought that it was a little silly. Can you really get a good workout playing a game? But you know what...I've been doing the yoga regularly, and I have noticed that my hips have loosened up. My hips are always tight from running and I have a hard time stretching them. Looks like Wii Fit could be a solution!
Not much training happening right now. I'm just doing short 4-6k runs a few times a week. Ideally, I like to do a weekly long run of at least 10k even when I am not training, but my time and energy on the weekends is limited these days. I might decide to sign up for the 10k event in the Angus Glen Half Marathon in November. It usually sells out in advance though, so I will have to decide soon. I doubt that I will be doing much running during my honeymoon in Hawaii, however!
